That's "Sarah" + "Jane" + "burn-high-sull" for anyone that looks up at my name and gets a bit intimidated! I often sign my work with a simple "SJB" though.
I am an illustrator with a BFA in Animation currently living in Oakland, CA. I love playing with color and pattern, and am heavily inspired by the nature from my home state of Utah and where I live now in California.
I have worked on projects involving mobile applications and interactivity, visual development for animation productions, products for consumer brands, scientific exhibits, surface design, and personally make high quality greeting cards, prints, and other physical products that I sell via my Etsy store or in my store, Bay-Made.
Bay-Made is an Oakland, CA brick-and-mortar retail store located on busy Lakeshore Avenue, right next to Lake Merritt. I am grateful to have found a way for now hundreds of Bay Area makers and businesses to connect with customers that would like to support their local economies in a designated location while maintaining exceptional quality.
